We are hiring in multiple offices for the 2024-2025 academic year. All position descriptions are below.


Campus Center

Student Worker- The CC Student Employment Program includes 3 positions: the Building Manager, the Information Specialist and the Office Assistant. Each of these positions directly interact with the users of the Campus Center, oftentimes when customers need assistance. Each position holds different responsibilities. The primary role of the Building Manager is event set-up within and right outside of the Campus Center based on daily room reservations. Another major component of being on the Campus Center staff is to provide exemplary customer service to those in our building. Graduate Assistant- This is an administrative position within the Campus Center. The GPC primarily assists the Assistant Director/Associate Director in organizing the daily operations of the Campus Center, along with ensuring that conference services are set-up, prepped, and run efficiently. Events Promotion & Marketing Assistant- This position works closely with the Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Involvement to plan events such as Commuter Social Hours, as well as promote the various events and programs of the Office, by designing flyers, social media posts, promotional videos and more.  This position will also table to promote the Office throughout the academic year to both current students and at large scale events such as Admitted Students Day. Housing and Residence Life

Resident Assistant- The RA is the most immediate link with residence hall students and must serve as a resource person for students living on the floor and in the hall. RAs are student staff that have received much training in order to live in the community and assist others. RAs are here to listen to your concerns and enforce University policies. They may also be contacted for general questions, concerns, or problems. RAs facilitate, plan, and implement community development and educational activities within the residence halls. They also serve in an on-call duty rotation to respond to after hours crisis situations. Minimum 2.75 GPA required. Click here to review the full posting.

Graduate Assistant- The core part of this position is assisting with the supervision of the Resident Services Coordinators (RSCs), who staff the Welcome Desks in each lobby. The RSC checks IDs, answers phones/emails, and checks in/out packages and guests.  Additionally, they serve in an on-call duty rotation to manage after hours crisis situations. Data Analyst- This position must be able to work independently to analyze data and prepare reports. Data will be collected each semester from the Resident Satisfaction Survey that this person will need to analyze. Additionally, an analysis of conduct and CARES cases will be done periodically to identify trends. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Click here to review the full posting.

Building Manager- The Building Manager (BM) serves OHRL by performing assigned duties of a manual nature that allow the overall mission of the department and the University to continue without interruption to student service and development. BMs assist with inspections, escort contractors, move and assemble furniture, and perform some lower level maintenance repairs. The nature of this position requires that the employee be able to work independently to accomplish duties and to maintain standards for safety for the immediate work area and for the entire on campus community. Student Life

Street Team- This position will work major events hosted by the unit to assist with checking in participants and facilitating any activities. They will work collaboratively to effectively market and advertise events across campus for all programing hosted by Student Life. Click here to review the full posting.

Data Analyst- This position must be able to work independently to analyze data and prepare reports. Each office within the unit will provide data around their programming efforts that will be analyzed to identify trends and provide feedback. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
