Residence Life Office Has Moved- Effective October 29, 2007:

Effective Monday, October 29, 2007, the Office of Residence Life will be relocated to the 3rd Floor of the Campus Center.
This move will not disrupt the services Residence Life provides, but will result in the relocation of Allison Wisniewski, Brandon Chandler, and the Residence Life Office staff to the Campus Center.

Normal hours of operation for the Residence Life Office are 9:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
           
The Area Coordinators' Office is not moving, and is still located off of the Residence Life Conference Room on the first floor of the Tower building. They can be reached by telephone at 856-225-6381, or via email:

Below is a partial list of common issues/concerns for residents. We have listed how each should be handled or who is responsible for each item in the hope of making the relocation of the office as seamless as possible.

Maintenance Requests that are NOT EMERGENCIES - please complete the online maintenance request available online at: http://housing.camden.rutgers.edu/

EMERGENGY Maintenance Requests - Please notify the Security Desk either in person or by dialing 856-225-6481

Lockouts - Please see the Security Desk for assistance

Lost or Stolen ID Cards - If your ID goes missing or is stolen, please visit the RU Connection Card website at https://services.jsatech.com/index.php?cid=52 to deactivate your card to protect your meal or RUExpress funds. Also, you will need to visit the IMPACT Booth in the Campus Center for assistance in obtaining a new card. During the evening and on weekends, you should still visit the website to deactivate your card, and also go to the Security Desk to have the RA contacted to obtain a temporary card.

To Report a Key Lost or Stolen - During business hours, please visit us on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center. Outside of business hours and on weekends please have the security desk contact the RA on-duty for assistance.

Roommate Issues or Concerns - Please see your RA or Area Coordinator

Contracts, billing and other financial issues regarding housing and meal plans - please see or e-mail Allison Wisniewski

Questions or Concerns Regarding Visitors or the EasyLobby System - Please see or e-mail Brandon Chandler

Laundry Machine Issues - Please contact Caldwell & Gregory directly at 1-800-927-9274 to report a maintenance issue with a laundry machine

Questions or Concerns Regarding Mail and Mailboxes - Please visit us on the 3rd Floor of the Campus Center for assistance

Vacuums - Please go to the Security Desk to check out a vaccum. Vacuums are available between 9:00am and 7:00pm Monday thru Friday, and must be returned within an hour of being borrowed.

Questions or Concerns About Parking - Many parking questions, concerns and transactions can be answered or completed by visiting their website at   http://www.camden.rutgers.edu/~rupdcamd/parktran/. Resident parking permits can be purahcsed online at this website without need to visit our office for forms. Parking permits for resident visitors MUST be purchased at the Parking Department Office located at the Rutgers Police Station.
